Hi, I'm Arno 🦉

I've created this website to have a space where I could not only share my background and experience, but also my perspective about subjects that matter to me. Working as a Lead Growth Analyst at Miro, I leverage complex data flows into efficient processing steps that enable me to derive actionable insights that empower stakeholders. Success is collaborative. No matter how technically skilled your data models and analyses are, they are only as good as the insights they provide. Influencing stakeholders and communicating insights effectively is crucial to a successful product development lifecycle.

Aside from work, I am interested in cycling (my goal is to complete my first bikepacking trip in 2026), climbing (like half of the urban population in 2025) and RTS video games (especially Age of Mythology). I am a late bloomer for most of my interests. For instance, I picked up sourdough bread baking after the Covid hype ended and most people abandoned the hobby. I would consider studying again, as I believe in continuous learning and I find universities to be the most intellectually stimulating spaces there is.

My goal through this website is to write on a continuous basis, in avoidance of the auto-complete that my editor continuously suggests, in an age where AI-assistance will likely corrupt our creative freedom.

    As Lead Growth Analyst at Miro, I leverage my extensive experience and actively contribute to product development and monetization efforts by spearheading the growth and product teams in tracking financial and engagement KPIs through the development and automation of insightful dashboards, alerts, and reports.

    Key responsibilities and achievements:

    • Maximizing monetization potential through acquisition, expansion optimization and in-product flows
    • Employing advanced predictive modelling techniques to gain deep insights into user journey (e.g. understanding retention patterns to maximize Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and maximize our customers CLV)
    • Combining quantitative and qualitative methods for product usage and user profiling analysis, participating in all the stages of product lifecycle from researching, prioritizing, planning, experimenting and analyzing results.
    • Supporting and guiding junior analysts in their development, in particular regarding technical data modelling and experimentation.

    • Assisting operational teams with data resources needed for relevant user communication
    • Creating predictive models to understand user journey impact on long-term product commitment
    • Segmentation of user base into distinct, relevant groups for better service delivery
    • Ad-hoc analyses about product usage, performance and profiling
